Elderly Day Care in Sale

Many of the older people we support come from Sale and the surrounding area. Our day service gives older and elderly adults a warm, sociable place to spend the day a short distance away in Stretford — with companionship, gentle activity suited to later life, and a freshly prepared meal. Older people are supported as part of our inclusive adult day service.

Sale sits just south of Stretford and is one of Trafford's largest towns, a short, familiar journey from our centre on Barton Road.

For Sale families caring for an ageing parent or partner, the hardest parts are often isolation and the relentlessness of caring. A regular, familiar day of company and gentle stimulation can lift an older person's mood — and give the family dependable respite.

Transport & Funding for Sale

We regularly support families from across Sale, including Sale Moor, Brooklands and Ashton upon Mersey. We can usually arrange wheelchair-accessible transport between Sale and our Stretford centre — routes and any costs are planned individually, so please contact us to discuss what is possible.

Sale is in Trafford, so adult social care for Sale residents is handled by Trafford Council. Some families may be eligible for funding or a personal budget. We are happy to talk through the general options with no obligation — any funding decision rests with the local authority.
