Getting there: door-to-door transport
For many adults with physical disabilities, transport is the biggest hurdle to attending anything. That is why we offer wheelchair-accessible, door-to-door transport across Manchester and Trafford, with friendly drivers and accessible vehicles, so the day begins and ends without the stress of arranging lifts.
Personal support, at the right level
Everyone needs a different level of help, and support is arranged around the individual — whether that is a hand with moving around, assistance at mealtimes, or personal care through the day. The goal is always to support independence, doing things with people rather than for them wherever possible, so the day builds confidence rather than taking it away.
Activities everyone can take part in
Activities are adapted so no one is left on the sidelines. Seated exercise, arts and crafts, music, games, gardening and baking can all be shaped to suit different abilities, and a freshly prepared hot lunch is a sociable highlight of the day. The point is participation and enjoyment — finding what each person likes and making it possible.

Our person-centred adult day care service supports adults with physical disabilities alongside those living with dementia, learning disabilities, brain injuries and other additional needs — an inclusive day where everyone belongs.
We are a day service, not a care home or nursing service, and we do not provide medical or nursing care — our focus is sociable, supportive daytime care, with people returning home each evening.
